What We Do...
Hello there and welcome to PACS. A Perfoming Arts Club aimed at local people aged 11 years
upwards..and a club that will be based at the former St Johns Church in Gainsborough.
From May 2007 we shall be offering various workshops using trained and experienced tutors in the
Performing Arts which will include Musical performance, Acting classes, Vocal tuition,
Music Technology and DJing. We also plan at least two productions a year, one musical and one
drama.
PACS has been inspired by local youth after initial market research carried out during December
2006/January 2007 identified a genuine need for such a club.
 | | We aim to help those involved build their confidence.
|
 | | To encourage and promote team work
|
 | | Capitalise on the wealth of over 10 years experience gained within Music and Performing Arts |
| | available locally. Through societies and schools.
|
How we shall achieve this....
With the support and backing of local people and the South West Ward Residents Association, help
from the Arts Council, and a dedicated committee made up of both younger and older members
where everyone can have their say and present their own ideas.
The Club itself will be non-profit making, funding itself through activities, ticket sales,
classes etc..Pacs E-mail Link

Who has joined PACS...
Since our official start during July this year, we have had a great response from local children and
teenagers, from Castle Hills School, Middlefield Lane School, QEHS and Parish Church School..
who have worked together well.
This has helped the club establish links across Gainsborough and beyond really. We are so grateful
to our members, through the committment they have shown and support they have given us to date.

During November 2007 we embarked upon our first musical production, performing a showcase of
songs at the Old Nick theatre on the Thursday night with the complete show being performed at St
Johns Church (now X - Church) on the Friday and Saturday, with fantastic support from all parents,
volunteers and the local community. Without the funding we were granted through the Stakeholders
Network this wouldn't have happened, so we sincerely thank them for their help. For more info on the
funding we received check out our "about us" page.
We've finally managed to sort some photos out from the Oliver show which you'll see below:-
