What We Do...
Hello there and welcome to PACS. A Performing Arts Club aimed at local people aged 10 years
upwards..and a club based at the former St Johns Church in Gainsborough (The X Church).
We began the club during May 2007, offering various workshops, and producing concerts and shows
with fully qualified tutors in the Performing Arts, which include Musical performances, Acting, Drama
and Singing. Members also have the opportunity to use music and lighting technology.
PACS had been inspired by local youth after initial market research carried out during December
2006/January 2007 identified a genuine need for such a club.
 | | We aim to help those involved build their confidence.
|
 | | To encourage and promote team work
|
 | | Capitalise on the wealth of over 10 years experience gained within Music and Performing Arts |
| | available locally. Through societies and schools.
|
How we shall achieve this....
With the support and backing of local people and the South West Ward Residents Association, help
from the Arts Council, and a dedicated committee made up of both younger and older members
where everyone can have their say and present their own ideas.
The Club itself is non-profit making, and is funded through activities, ticket sales, subs etc..

Who has joined PACS...
Since our official start during July this year, we have had a great response from local children and
teenagers, from Castle Hills School, Middlefield Lane School, QEHS and Parish Church School..
who have worked together very well.
This has helped the club establish links across Gainsborough and beyond really.
We are so grateful to our members, who, through their committment , have shown
